"This is a portrait of Claire, who is an oncology staff nurse working at The Christie in Manchester in emergency admissions/transfers. I made this piece as part of the Portraits for NHS Heroes initiative started by Tom Croft. As a portrait artist, I found this could be my way of supporting the NHS heroes, and helping create artwork which celebrates all the people risking their lives every single day for the betterment of society."
